Results of the 2026 GBR F5J Team Selection competitions:
Principal criterion for selection of the three-person team for 2027 WCH is pilots’ results in their best two of the three team selection competitions in 2026.
Additionally:
- Pilot must be eligible to represent GB and the list above includes pilots who are not (e.g. overseas pilots and anyone who has represented another country in the last three years are not eligible).
- Obviously team members must be willing to be in the team! If any of the top three is not, we go down the list until we have three who are. But only pilots who achieve a minimum of the top pilot’s score are eligible – subject to a discretion in the SFTC to go lower in exceptional circumstances if necessary.
The actual team selection process will take place nearer the WCH and the results announced here.
